Title: Sales Associate

Reports to: Sales Manager

Based at: Kerrville, TX
Classification: Hourly

Job Purpose: The role of the Sales Associate is to successfully grow sales revenue through outbound calling to prepared lists of clients and creation of sales leads. Execute This position will work closely with the sales manager to develop key activities that ensure a consistently growing revenue stream from existing key clients as well as new and expand our sales activities to improve both conference and product sales. Close contact with clients is required and all sales activities will be measured for effectiveness. Management reporting will be a key activity since this position will be commissioned on sales and goal achievement.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  1. Drive the process of cold calling clients from developing lists to execution of calls.
  2. Work closely with your supervisor to identify new processes and services that can be employed to generate revenue.
  3. Track sales results; have the ability to understand how results can be measured for any campaign and report results to management.
  4. Execute – consistently meet outbound call goals.
  5. Problem solving – take action to resolve client product issues/problems as they are discovered.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  1. Experience with outbound calling techniques.
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships.
  3. Extremely capable communicator, able to understand business requirements and grow value through sales activities.
  4. Insider knowledge of our market and our product and service offerings.
  5. Familiarity with our competitors.
  6. Ability to speak to clients with power and conviction a plus.
  7. Desire to learn new things and apply new skills to diverse projects.
